Analysing spare Nooelec SAWBird H1 LNAs at LRO 6 March 2025 using NanoVNA (Vector Network Analyser)
I used a NanoVNA vector network analyser to analyse my spare Nooelec SAWBIrd H1 low noise amplifiers.
In each case, the level is around 0dB – so, when 40dB attenuation is added, this gives 40dB gain. The curve is essentially flat around 1420MHz. All Nooelec SAWBird H1 LNAs perform well. Adding in the Chinese Cavity Filter narrows the pasband at price of around 3dB loss in gain.
