Photos of Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) from my garden, Lichfield, UK, night 10-11/5/2024

My wife and I went all the way to Iceland couple years ago to see the aurora and did not see it – amazingly we saw it last night from our own back yard!! And, in addition, the crown was above us – wow! Reds, blues, greens – could be seen visually and even better on photos. My photos below from handheld Samsung S21 phone as this is all I had available.

Latitude 52.5 degrees north, 1.5 degrees west.
