Antistatic bags used to protect electronic components

Those are called anti-static bags or ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) bags. They are used to protect sensitive electronic components from static electricity damage during storage and transport.

There are two main types:

1. Metallized Shielding Bags – Usually silver or gray, they provide both a Faraday cage effect and anti-static protection.
2. Pink or Clear Anti-Static Bags – These prevent static buildup but do not provide full shielding against external static fields.

For highly sensitive components, metallized shielding bags are preferred.
