Solar Cooker purchased from ebay September 2024

This was mentioned on SARA mailing list – and then I saw someone selling one on ebay UK for £50, unused! This is effectively a 1.5m satellite dish which concentrates sunlight at prime focus to heat a kettle, but should work well for hydrogen radio astronomy…..or at least I hope so!

Arrived in two parcels – 9kg and 5kg.
